Use this chart as an initial guide and adjust accordingly. Feeding guide indicates the suggested total feeding amount per day. FirstMate recommends splitting this amount into two or more meals per day. Always provide fresh clean water. For pregnant females, increase feed intake beginning week 7 of gestation up to 25%. For lactating females increase feeding up to 50%, feeding a minimum of 3 times per day. Feeding requirements vary depending on breed and litter size.
